Why choose Surrogacy?
For couples who want a child but are unable to give birth, surrogacy is a very viable alternative. Rather than adopt a child who has no blood relation to you and your partner, with gestational surrogacy your sperm is commingled, through in- vitro fertilization, creating an embryo which will become a child that is genetically yours. Another woman carries and gives birth to the child for you. Same sex couples also choose surrogacy to fulfill their dreams of becoming parents. They use Egg Donor and surrogate to complete their desire to parenthood.
How much will it cost?
Surrogacy costs vary from country to country, as do success rates and legal requirements. Often non-standard expenses also can add thousands to your final price. Sometimes these costs are obvious. Other times the costs are more subtle. The Surrogacy cost is dependent on several factors depending upon the place and type of surrogacy wishful parents’ needs.Surrogacy costs range from $95,000 for an agency program in the United States. Surrogacy programs range from $50,000 in Eastern Europe or South America, to $80,000 in Western countries like the UK, Greece or Canada.
A contract needs to be made between the Intended parents, the surrogate and her husband and signed by all. The contract makes clear that the baby born through surrogacy will be the legitimate child of the Intended Parents. Even in places where surrogacy is legal, there is a great variation in the legal panorama and hence the need for the contract to safeguard interest of all parties involved. Countries that are surrogacy friendly and have legal laws are the United States, Ukraine, Georgia, and India (for Indians only). The United States does permit surrogacy for same-sex couples and singles as well. Ukraine, Georgia, and India are strictly only for married heterosexual couples.
